banks letting companies take money from accounts

hi does anyone know how to stop companys going into bank account to take money out ,I was shopping throught mandm sports had finished click out of it and apage came up from them that i could pick one of six items to trial at home all i had to pay was postage i stupidly picked a face cream paid the postage with debit card and forgot about it got bank statement in today and discovered that the company had taken £64.62 out and are going to do so again on mon been in touch with bank they say they cant help as it is not fraud and that i must have agreed to this but i didnt , I remember martin lewis saying something on tv about this that us small people can do this but i have forgotten all the right stuff to say please please help

    They cannot without your permission or if it is fraud.
    been in touch with bank they say they cant help as it is not fraud and that i must have agreed to this but i didnt

    If you believe that the company has taken money out in breach of contract, then you should complain to them directly and then depending on the outcome of that, consider the small claims court. There your contract will be examined and if you are right, then you would get your money back. If not, you could incur costs.

    You need to examine your contract and see what you agreed to.
