I shall order some to take to the tddler group where I live. I am still breastfeeding my daughter (21 months) more her choice than mine, and would be more than happy to publicise the benefits. How about cost saving which should be appropriate on this forum surely. when I think of how much it would have cost to use formula!! I cannot understand how some people may think that this is an inappropriate freebie. If you can't use it yourself take it to a local group who may benefit. It's surprising how ignorant people are about the benefits cost and time daving benefits associated with breastfeeding.

And before anyone asks I'm not some greenpeace hippy type. (well I used to be, but that was in another lifetime). I just believe that breastfeeding is another thing that has been taken away by massed consumerism, that somehow something made in a factory is better and more nutritious than the real thing, Women need to be given information and the confidence in their bodies to feed their babies.

I think a far better way of promoting awareness of the benefits of breast feeding would be to have a 'display your breasts' day ... it would bound to attract a lot of attention, and when people ask 'why have you whapped out your baps' you can reply 'I am promoting awareness of the importance of breast feeding'

I usually wouldn't reply to posts as I do believe each to their own however the more I reply the more it bumps this post the more people become aware!!!!

I used to post the breastfeeding items on a parenting website but the numbers have fallen and I saw this as a sure fire way of spreading the word.

Harry you wanna see baps hun move to Norway they "get em out" frequently without hiding until children are 7!!!

Keep this one bumped up, wendiewoo. I'm sure lots of people here on MSE have got connections with pregnant women and mums etc, whether on a professional or a personal basis.
