I've recently had an issue with a deal on Living Social. I have emailed them twice in the last 5 days and not had any response?
Anyone have a direct email or number to speak to someone to make a complaint properly?

Phone them and email them, but don't get your hopes up. I had a problem with a beauty treatment that I found out on the day I didn't qualify for on health grounds - despite there being no mention of the restriction on the deal page.
Living social have refused to deal with it, because the seller 'told them the detail was there on the ad'. I have the copies of the ad, sent them over to the team, and it isn't there. However, it appears that this is sufficient for them to ignore the complaint.
£16 down, but quite enjoying slating the salon for it's terrible service. Won't be buying from Living Social again anytime soon. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

Try the Uk facebook page. They will delete anything you put on the wall complaining, but I messaged them my complaint number and asked them to look into it, and it was solved within a day.0

I am also having problems with the appauling Living Social. I booked an activity that had two options - I booked the cheaper option - got a confirmation email but was charged for the more expensive one. I've sent emails...emails...emails...including sending them a copy of the confirmation email. They just insist I booked the more expensive deal. I can't understand how they can be so useless!!
It takes them a couple of weeks to reply in any way and them it's usually a standard 'we value your patience' email. They have stolen from me and I'm busy spreading the word of how awful they are - with a lot of sucess but I still can't get a word of sense from them.
Anyone got any advice? I'm not giving up but now just want all my money back and to wash my hands of them.
GroupOn - no problems...Living Social - thieves.0 -
I'm having the same problem, having bought an online training course which has never materialised. So annoying that they won't answer the phone or answer emails!
I'm getting rather irate now! :mad:0 -
I've just posted on their FB page and was answered within two seconds! So I'm PMing then now - thanks for the tip. Fingers crossed!0

I'm a big fan of discount sites and use often, but my rule is to google the company offering the deal to check a) they exist and b) the real price to check it is actually discounted. Despite this I've still come up against a few dodgy companies and groupon have always responded quickly and arranged a credit when it hasn't worked out with the supplier (e.g. no bookings left, fine print too restrictive). But Living Social is a different matter - DO NOT USE!! I have been struggling to get a refund from a company who were booked to do carpet cleaning and didn't show. no response from them or Living Social over the past 2 weeks - looks like I'm down £17.0
