We were at the show on Wednesday when most of the filming for Friday's programme was done. I was so disappointed not to see the World War Two Dig for Victory Garden entered by Warmley Junior School not mentioned. It even included an Anderson shelter. Their research was very well done. Why, when we are encouraging children to garden couldn't their garden be given at least a mention. A very knowledgable and enthusiastic young pupil explained all about the garden to us as well.
I was disappointed with some aspects of the rest of the show. Where were the serious garden sundries, seeds etc. Monty said it was a "summer flower show" I would have liked to see a bit more vegetable content.
