oh, don't get me started on women being guilt-tripped and hassled to have smears :rotfl: That's a whole nother thread!! The poor woman probably doesn't feel assertive anough to say she doesn't want (or need) one and 'please stop pressuring me'.
But you are right, she should just not book the appointment, or simply ring up and cancel it. But it's people we're dealing with, isn't it? And people aren't perfect.
I do feel badly when I read about staff being abused, or worse. That's awful, and it shouldn't happen. I know I couldn't do their job, and I do admire people who can.0
