Ok, so as I understand it, I have to have earned at least 26 times the LEL (26 * 97 = 2522) in each year 09/10 and 10/11?
I wouldn't worry yourself too much about it. ESA replaced Incapacity Benefit, which provided support for the likes of the self emplyed, contractors, etc, i.e, those who don't receive statutory sick pay.
Providing you have worked and paid your contributions for tax year 2011 - 2012, you should be elligble for income related ESA. (£71.00) per week.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?
