Debt Recovery Agencies - recommendations wanted!

Hi All,

Like all small businesses, we suffer from occasional bad debts, despite following all the usual advice on chasing and avoiding. I get a lot of unsolicited calls from debt recovery agencies offering the world, but am pretty sceptical about them. I am looking for a recommendation of a reliable, effective and reasonably priced service to help with things beyond me. Anyone any experience? I am in the Scarborough area if this helps.

Do it yourself via moneyclaim online

Don't allow any claims company take a huge slice of any money you recover. All they'll probably do is make an online claim anyway.

I am a warrant officer for the uttility companies and in my job i come accross a lot of different people. The best ones that i think would sort your situation are the self employed baliffs. They are not as exspensive as the big companies and they do have the ability to speak to people on any wave length. Because they are paid on results they go the extra mile. They are also there for the future as and when needed without any commitment on your side
