How long before you would contact paypal

Hi,
I paid for an item through paypal a month ago, the postage cost was for
first class recorded. But the item never arrived. I have been in contact with the seller who has given me the postal number to prove it had been sent. He said that he would contact Royal Mail to see what has happend, He then said he had been instructed by Royal mail to wait until mid march to see if it arrived. This item has been missing for over a month now. How long should I wait?

Is there a time limit before you can no longer contact Pay pal to get a refund for a missing item. I hope the seller will refund me, but what if he doesn't:rolleyes:

yes...its 45 days limit so you better be quick and put your claim in....

the seller should have refunded you already and made his/her claim through RM...

if he has given you the recorded tracking number, have you checked RM website with it to see what it says

    can check number here...

Don't wait any longer, get your chargeback in today and don't cancel it until you either have your goods or a refund.

As a buyer you don't have to wait until the RM refund your seller.
