Hi Guys
I hope someone can help me, i really need a new car and a friend is selling one but i dont quite have all the money to pay for it, i dont want to take out a loan as the interest rates are really high so i thought maybe getting a credit card that has 0% APR for several months would be a good idea (as i would be able to pay the money off within a few months) and i was going to withdraw some cash from the ATM with it but i have recently learnt that the interest rate is different for a 'cash advance' can anyone recommend a decent credit card company that offer a reasonable rate of APR on cash advance or any tips that will help with my situation?
Thanks in advance

Many CCs offer an introductory 0% "balance transfer". A minority of these (eg MBNA) will allow you to transfer money to your current account on the same basis. Typically there is a fee of around 3%.
I believe another way is to get an M&S card and purchase sterling travallers cheques from them which you then cash. No doubt someone will be along shortly to enlighten us!0 -
thank you for your reply i did see some offering 0% on balance transfers but wasn't sure how it worked, i may look into this further now.0

On this forum, CCs that allow a transfer to your current account are known as "super balance transfer cards", though that's not a term used by CCs themselves.0
