Is there any way to stop the calls?

I know this is probably not the correct place to post this thread, but am totally sick of calls from claims management companies. We are having three calls a day at home, am now getting texts mentioning my name on my mobile. What is much more disturbing is that some elderly friends are also getting the calls and it is really disturbing and confusing some of them. Anybody any hints? Many thanks

Register with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS).
It won't stop calls from abroad, but it will stop any marketing calls originating from the UK.
