Could someone do me a favour please.

This morning i was on the DISboards website with no issues,(use it most days) now whenever i try to get on it AVAST detects malware and blocks it.(using google chrome and IE9)

Would someone mind seeing if it is just AVAST blocking the site or whether other anti-viruses are also blocking it.

Virus Total is showing disboards.com as a clean site so on the face of it looks like false positive from Avast.

Might be worthwhile giving it 24 hours and see if any Disboard forum members come up with an answer.

Seems OK on Kaspersky.

Well it is still the same this morning, AVAST blocking the site.

Hopefully it will sort itself out over the next couple of days.

Would someone who is using AVAST mind confirming that they are getting the same blocked malware threat warning pop up when they try to get onto the site.

Yes, I'm getting blocked (no idea what the website is, would I be interested in it if I could get in?).

Thanks for confirming you are getting the same message using Avast.

It's a Disney forum so you probably would not be interested lol, i have been using it to help plan my next trip

Just downloaded Avast and it is blocking the site or warning of a malicious URL.

It's not browser specific either as I have tried accessing the the site with IE8, Firefox, Palemoon, Chrome and Opera and the results are the same.

However all 28 anti-virus programmes on Virus Total are still showing this site as clean so it's probably a Disboards scripting issue or Avast's warning is a false positive.

As mentioned in my previous post, there is an ongoing discussion about this problem on the Disboards forum and also now on the Avast forum so I think it will be sorted very soon. Best to give it a few days and see what happens.

More info, I've just tried disboards in Firefox and IE with Avira and it is fine.
