Facebook location on status update

I'm trying to put my location in my status updates on my phone.
When you click on the location symbol and it gives you a list of local businesses etc and at the bottom in grey is the name of the area you are in with an X next to it.
How do you put that local area in your status update?

On my iPhone, it does it automatically - not sure how

Click on 'update your status' and then follow image.
Greyer by the minute - Older by the hour - Wiser by the day0 -
