Which camera to buy? Panasonic GF3 or Nikon J1?

Hey
Just wondered if anyone had either of these cameras and could give me their views on them. I'm looking to get a compact system camera and these two are top of my list at the moment. Though if anyone has a better choice in a similar price range (£300ish) I would appreciate it.
Thanks

Just trying to move this back up a bit - hopefully so someone can give some advice!0

I looked at both of these. I used to love DSLRs but realised I simply never took them out because of the size!
Of the two above, I particularly liked the GF3's predecessor if you can still get them, which had the same sensor...
In the end though, I went for a compact without the changeable lenses: Fujifilm X10 which I love and find myself taking out almost daily.
Best tip: Go and play with some in a few camera stores!0 -
As a long-term Nikon user, I really wanted to like the J1. But when it came to the crunch, I bought a GF3.0

My wife has the J1, it's a very good camera and the Smart Photo Selector feature despite looking like a bit of a gimmick, works really well and is definitely a very useful feature. Only downside is the price, but I think it has come down a lot since we bought it just before Xmas last year - and there is/was a cashback promo running.0
