You can lighten your spam by setting up outlook to "delete on server" any message from yahoo.com, hotmail.com and verizon.com (gets rid of 90% of the carp).
What about if you do actually receive messages from friends with these addresses??
I think a decent spam filter would be much more useful! :j Ready to take control of my life! :j

There's a good site here where you can check out if emails you get are scams or not:
http://www.snopes.com/
Put a few words into the search facility and it usually flags up if it's a scam.
