I went to Bali last year as we were meeting up with friends who live in Oz.
I loved it but to be honest it was what i wanted at the time, we did a couple of days in Ubud and then 10 days in Nusa Dua staying at a lovely 5 star hotel, it was just what i wanted, lots of nice food and drink and pampering!
I did Hawaii the year before, it was such a let down, the only place i really fell for was Maui but the other islands i wouldnt be fussed about going back to, also everyone always expects Hawaii to be good weather and thats not usually the case, it rains a lot there!
If you want relaxing and pretty islands the caribbean is always nice, the islands i would recommend are Antigua, Barbados, St Martin, Tortola and Grenada.
Enjoy it whatever you decide
