Charge Certificate: advice needed!

I received a PCN from Lewisham Council in March when parked outside my daughter's house. I was parked on double yellow lines, but as there were lots of breaks in the lines and half of it was so faded it was invisible from some angles, I did not think the parking restrictions would apply. I appealed against the PCN but the appeal was rejected. The Council sent me a Notice to Owner on 9 May. I appealed again. On 13 June I received a Charge Certificate saying that the Penalty Charge had now increased by 50%.
I have today e-mailed Lewisham Parking Services saying that I did appeal against the Notice to Owner so the increase should not apply. I have sent my MP a copy of my e-mail.
If anyone can give any help or advice on anything else I can do, I'd be very happy to hear from them!

Go to pepipoo.com and post this there as well. Pity it has got to CC stage as you have run out of this stage of the process. Wait for others to advise but I think your next stage is to wait for the order of recovery and go from there.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
  • Thanks, I'll do that:j
