As long as your drive is not gravel you won't have a problem.

You probably won't have a problem if it is gravel, it would just be a lot harder to push.

Pushing it through a 1 metre gap shouldn't be a problem either, if it is you can always pull the mirrors in to give you a bit of extra room.

Oh and if you are new to biking get someone to show you how to put it on its centre stand, there is an easy way and an 'ohmygoditsimpossible' way

I was doing the latter for a number of years till I was shown the easy way

eBay is like any other sales venue. Keep your eyes and ears open and be prepared to walk away if it doesn't feel right. If you don't know what you are looking for, best find some who does to help you.

I've bought and sold many bikes with eBay. I've walked away from a few too.

How genuine is the seller? I travelled over 500 miles to pick up my last bike off eBay and it was exactly as described. Seller emailed me extra pics etc, anything I asked for. If they really want to sell, they'll make an effort.

Main thing to check is that it isn't an import (V5 will be a clue to this as usually it says "declared new at first registration for UK based veghicles I think) plus you can check the headlights for flaring to the wrong side. and is it nicked/is the frame number stamped on properly.

125's do get stolen because learners crash them so there is always a ready market for the bits.

Oh and don't buy a cheap chinese one. False economy!
