in Credit cards
Hi,
Just looking for a bit of advice about the best way to proceed.
Two months ago I ordered some custom made decking and a wooden gate for my home. The company seemed to have been around on-line for some time with generally favourable comments. I used my Halifax credit card when placing the order.
The waiting time was quoted as 30 working days as this was 'a busy time of year'. Anyway, the delivery date came and went so I decided to contact the company. Well it wasn't good. The web page is now blank, the 0800 number states that it isn't receiving incoming calls and the two normal geo numbers, one is permanently engaged and the other just rings out with no reply.
I'm several hundred pounds light now, anyone advise how best to proceed please. I know I will need to contact Halifax but is there anything else I can do? I rang Companies House and they said that the company's accounts were a couple of months late but there was nothing to say they had gone bust. They did however qualify that by saying it does take time to filter through.
Quite worried now.

can you go around to their shop ?Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Just do a chargeback for goods not received0
