I just found some nice iPod socks on eBay for only £1.49 each with free postage. That might be good for the 15 year old .....

in my family we only ever give to the kids at easter. anyhow i always get a really nice book for them all. if you look around there are usually good 3 for 2 offers so doesnt work out that dear. otherwise why not look on greenmetropolis.

i now have to post to everyone so paperbacks are perfect as i cant post an egg anyway!
  • check out site called yellowmoon.org.uk they have tonnes of easter craft ideas:
sequin egg kits 5 for £5
colour in easter egg cards 10 for £3
    make your own easter hat£3
wooden 3 part eggs to paint or not 4 for £4
    cross stitch bookmarks
£2.95 delivery but various discounts available on above prices.
if you have your own kids or a few kids to buy for you can mix and match a bit or keep one for yourself!
great ideas if you have kids but want to respond to kind donations of choc eggs etc.
i personally think easter is over-rated and am a bit shocked to get pressies for my 3 yr old even from his gran. it's nice and good way to keep in touch etc but i don't expect anything.
itunes voucher great idea for teenagers. however, since ipods rendered half the grown up bus passengers on my bus this morning deaf and blind :mad:when i was trying to get off with a couple of toddlers in tow please buy me a pair of wire cutters or megaphone for easter:eek:
  • If you're any good at sewing - how about a sock monkey (thread on here somewhere)? You could personalise them and suitable for any age.

arentiawalton - if you're a bit crafty have a look at the Crafts for Christmas thread........there's a foam Ipod cover someone's made (apologies for not remembering who) -it's a bit bright for a boy but using different colour might do for 17 yr. old. I'm going to have a go at one for my teenage grandson
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
