Sorry if this has been posted but just seen this while browsing their site:
http://www.halifax.co.uk/bankaccounts/pdf/june-pricing-change-nov.pdf
It appears from November 2nd 2012 Halifax are making a few changes:
1. New daily Agreed OD fee levels:
Up to and including £1,999.99 £1
£2,000 to £2,999.99 £2
£3,000 and above £3
2. Changes to billing periods
3. Weekend processing of card payments
4. Cancellation of regular payments on Debit card now cancelled through them
5. Increased ATM withdrawal to £500
Might be useful for anyone thinking of switching or those where the new OD fees might want them to look elsewhere.
EDIT: The forum search is C~@#! maybe now moneysupermarket is buying the site they can upgrade it! just found this(which didn't show for seach of 'Halifax Nov 2':
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4006011
Which discusses point 1, but no mention of the other changes which may be usefull for some to know..
