Isn't that against your investment principles, thats like buying a managed fund through an IFA isn't it in cost terms?0 -

Yes.
I buy from cheap market stalls and get my teeth done on the NHS. She shops at Waitrose and uses a private dentist who charges like a wounded rhino.
This is why I handle our investments!I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.0 -

I see little/no crossover between their customer bases, so I'm sure there is room for both.
All I can say is I have found Primark mens clothes to be at least as good quality as M&S.“It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.” --Upton Sinclair0 -

Maybe they have a different angle on bloke's stuff. Dunno.
Any shop relying on my clothing buying for decent income is FUBAR for sure!I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.

I once hurriedly bought a sweatshirt from Primark for £5. It turned out to be the most tatty, skimpy, badly made, ill-fitting, scruffy piece of rubbish that I have ever been stupid enough to throw money at in the clothing arena. You might say, what would one expect for a fiver, and I accept that. But I would never again touch Primark with a barge-pole. To a large extent you do get what you pay for.No-one would remember the Good Samaritan if he'd only had good intentions. He had money as well.
The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money.

I think Tesco with a new CEO is more risky now maybe
Sainsburys I was looking at 279 but decided to go ahead with much more risky FXPO but still I will maybe swap back to Sains as its like cash in the bank with that div. Its really gone down this year, but their results are improving ? So market expects worse ahead
Why does Woodford dislike Tesco. I think he sold it all and said he buys medicine as a safe bet instead, they are underrated due to worries on their development line maintaining patent profits for future0
