Nationwide BS Travel Insurance

I have just qualified for "free" annual travel insurance from Nationwide Building Society. I am concerned about whether anything that is "free" is any good. But I cannot find an easy way of making comparison with others.
Anyone out there k now if the policy is good enough?
Is there a comparison site that will compare two or more policies?
Thanks
Ian

This is a very basic comparison guide.
http://www.defaqto.com/star-ratings/travel-insurance
It only checks for certain features. Where people go wrong with the Travel Insurance that comes with a banking package, is that they don't check it is suitable for a holiday they are about to book or have booked. As with any Insurance, there will be limitations. Also there is a requirement to disclose information throughout the Insurance. So if anyone that is to be covered by the Insurance, suffers from an illness or injury, you need to tell them about it.
Also people think they are getting the policy free, when they are probably paying for it in some way. e.g a fee for the type of account or having savings without much interest, above a certain level. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0 -

Although the Nationwide policy should be called "complimentary" rather than free, there are no charges (hidden or otherwise) for the account that provides it (a fee free current account).
(They stopped their commission free overseas withdrawals and replaced it with this travel insurance)0 -
Thank you!
The comparison site was useful. It shows the Nationwide Policy as being a 5 Star Defaqto policy - as good as they get and one star better than my previous buy!!0
