Just depends on which area of merseyside-There's a load of equestrian centres at Bold Heath near St.Helens"As we know, there are known knowns. There are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns. That is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns; The ones we don't know we don't know."

That's fab - I am in the South end so its not too far at all... I know this might sound a bit mad but do I just turn up or do I call to see if they have any available?? I am not too sure of manure etiquette!!0

I'd use the yellow pages (or yell.com)first and phone up to check - there's Bold Heath Equestrian centre and Tunstall's Farm off the top of my head. There were some in Burtonwood last year offering free manure and with the amount of equestrian centres in that area there's got to be one willing to let it go for free."As we know, there are known knowns. Well I thought it was funny.
To the OP it might be worth looking in Yellow Pages for horse riding stables and ringing them up to see if they will let you collect.
Or do as my uncle used to do, he would make us walk down country lanes with him while he had a bucket and scoop for any horse droppings. Not cool when you are a teenager to have to do. I can still remember how embarrased I felt 20 years later.Money SPENDING Expert0 -
Anfield?? I think you meant Goodison - just slightly to the left... you can smell it a mile off
Scouse = You poor soul... you should have called childline!!
So, thanks for all your tips - now one thing, I have emailed the stables mentioned and they do have manure but due to council laws (?) they cannot let it rot on site - it is two months old - is that old and rotted enough???
Thanks again for all the tips - you guys are invaluable!!:beer:0
