Opening a Lloyds TSB bank account - How long?

I opened a Lloyds TSB current account last weekend using their website but as of yet I've heard nothing. No emails, no texts, no phone calls, no post.

How long does it typically take them to open an account?

If you are unsuccesfull, do they tell you?

At the moment I'm wondering if my application has actually been received!

I wonder if its easier to go down to my local branch this weekend and open an account in person, if possible.

As above give them a buzz.

I applied on a Saturday and started recieving text alerts for online banking etc on the Tuesday and the welcome pack was Friday I believe.
