I've stated doing a few paid surveys recently. I'm finding that they all slightly over promise when telling you how much you can make, but I am making a little extra money and getting some cool gift vouchers which is good.

I've tried MySurvey, Toluna and particularly like IPSOS. Are there any others people would recommend?

OnePoll have regular surveys for 10p or 20p a time that take 5 minutes. I earn about £15 a month from them. Cash out is 40 quid payable to your bank account or PayPal.

Does surveys really work as a methods of earning extra cash? It all looks a bit dodgy to me.

If you stick with the legitimate sites that are listed on here then yes they do. In all, I earn 30 or 40 quid a month from 4 or 5 sites.

I make around £50/60 a month from various sites - sometimes more if you get into one of the longer surveys. I stick to sites that pay out regularly for smaller cash out amounts and invite you to a number of surveys a month.
There are some whom IMHO will take years to payout and only send out 1 survey a month - YouGov springs to mind on this point! and jettison as waste of time.

I dumped YouGov ages ago as I was getting so few surveys it would have taken a couple of years to reach the payout level.

Same here - when they first started they were a regular payer, but the surveys just seemed to dry up.
