Trying to arrange my banking (accounts etc.)
So I thought I'd look at Natwest again where I hold an account I'm not using as I left for Barclays last year due to a better interest rate on savings.
So I ask to talk about a current and savings account with a Natwest Advisor suitable for me, and instantly she transfers me to someone asking for my details to open a savings account. No idea which one they're trying to open for me.
Ridiculous.

So just to clarify are you saying the advisor was going to take an application for you via the live chat?
Just so you know you should never give any account information via live chat and the advisors are not aloud to give you account specific information either using the service.
Plus the live chat advisors are mainly offshored...
