How often do you have pudding?

Just being a bit nosey really because I've seen a few posts on here by people who state what they're cooking for their dinner and then what pudding they're having that day.
Hubby and I never eat pudding unless it's a meal out. We might do if we go to my mums for Sunday lunch, but that is a rarity!
Just wondered what everyone else does. Don't want my hubby to feel hard done by!

When I was growing up, probably once a week - on a Sunday.
Now - probably 2x a year.
A belly only holds so much - and if you have "afters" then that's two sets of meals you have to think of and make and wash up after ... but it's not like your belly holds more when you have it, you have to eat less of your main meal for it to fit.0 -
We're totally the same
The only exception is if I buy the M&S dine in for £10 as a treat on a Saturday night....though what usually happens is it serves to remind me I can't fit it in and OH ends up with half of it!0 -
We'll have it once or twice a week, but then I love to bake. Even then, it's only something like a rock bun, flapjack or a crumble-type thing.

I like to offer dh something when he is home (only three nights a week usually so different to most;) ). Pudding might not be 'pudding' in the sweet or fatty stense though....fruit salads or soups are as frequent or more so here.0

I love my puds:o I often have them for breakfast
We have just made a strawberry crumble, so that will keep me going for a few days:TI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
We normally have a sponge pudding on a soup or a salad night. Maybe once a week. I'd be the size of a house if I had a pudding every night!0

Well I have an ice cream or yoghurt most evenings after dinner but OH doesn't have a sweet tooth and will only have something once or twice a week unless its a home made pie or crumble or rice pudding then he'll eat it every night.. on average I cook a proper pudding twice a week..#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

OH has a sweet tooth so he'd like "afters" of some sort every night. Some nights its just a couple of biscuits with a cup of tea after dinner (got him down from a packet to a couple
). Other nights if i've done some baking, it might be a slice of cake. Generally only do what he'd really consider "pudding" - rice pudding, jelly, instant whip, jam/syrup/chocolate sponge, crumble etc on a Sunday but occasionally I'll treat him during the week too - usually if one of my "experimental" dinners fails to live up to expectations :rotfl:

Growing up pudding was only really at weekends or other peoples houses but when I was with my ex his family had pudding every day...unfortunately after 9 years or so this habit has stuck and now find it really hard not to have something sweet but am trying to curb it...I love food, hate waste and have a penchant for sparkly things ::D
Trying to find a work life balance...:rotfl:0 -
Thanks for all the replies so far.
It does make me think that I should try and make more of an effort and maybe make a proper english pudding once a fortnight maybe. Like a rice pudding or a crumble. What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0
