Hi please can I change my % to just £10,000 and 1% for £100... my partner is helping with the halifax so the other £900 is sorted x
    The 1% Challenge #76 - Debt 1 = £620 - 1% = £6.20 - 4.3%
    Debt 2 = £1600- 1% = £16 - 0%
    Debt 3 = £1012 - 1% = £10.12 0%

    Pay all your debt by Xmas 2016 #130- £465.86/£7636.46 - 6.1 %
    Make £10 a day ~ Jan £182.49, Feb £373.65

We've been having another re think of our financial situation and we may be shuffling our % to a different cause (again!). I think our expectations are too high, and i can see us easily going off track because the end goal doesnt seem achievable.

We may put the car on the back burner because im learning that sacrifice is everything getting out of debt. WE want a bigger car to fit our 5 family members in. Seems like a 'need' when we only have a 4 seater car, right? Well, husband uses his cycle bike to work and can easily do 10 mile trips in it. Its not often we go further than that as a full family (weekends mainly). Sooooo, i figured i can fit me and the kids in the car throughout the week no problem and at weekends we will just need more time/planning and husband can set off first on his bike and we will follow in the car. If its a bigger trip we may consider train journeys as kids are free. This means i can use my savings to pay off the CC and get our overdraft down to £2k. Should have paid CC by about Feb. Then focus on the car as the car payments are 0% anyway so if we can manage this set up for a year then it will benefit us massively. It will also mean i can afford the car insurance outright for the first time ever, its £400 this coming year and we are currently paying £89 a month atm so thats essentially £90 saved :T What do you guys think?

Soooo im sorry Little miss uni debt. but im changing my % again :o please dont shoot me :rotfl: First percent is staying the same at £65 and we have 9% Second one is changing, 1% will be £7 and will be what i need to reduce the overdraft to £2k which i aim to do by November 4th (when the bank reduce the £2 a day charge threshold to £2k.

    Debt 1 £45 9%
    Debt 2 £7 28.5%

Thanks :T Got a ton of stuff to list so should have some better figures within the week :T

Well, it's been expensive for us this last month. VAT bill and entertaining the kids over summer. So my %s are slow and steady. Keep thinking about listing on ebay...but that's as far as I've got. :(
We've got loads of stuff to get rid of. I've got a couple of days off later in the week so I'll attempt to sort some stuff out.
Well done to everyone so far.
Sorry to read of your split Claire (((hugs))) xx

Just done my first trade in today and printed off a pre-paid label.

Shame they don't have more books listed.

Im not too sure whats going on with my trade in at the moment, its a bit weird. i sent off books 4th July. Heard nothing and thought they must of got lost. Then lo and behold I get a book returned by them the other day which was in perfect condition???????, so they must of received them. And still no credit to my trade in account as of today. It has put me off doing it again as there is no way of contacting them either!

Just listed 14 maternity bits on 2 parenting sites i frequent, FC. They'll get listed on ebay if no interest there first.

Just sold something for £14 after postage so thats 2% towards the overdraft. Will count it properly when i move it to the savers :j

Got husband to work an hour early so thats more overtime and he did 5 hours overtime last night :T

Going to list a load of 99p stuff on Ebay when youngest naps and eldest goes on her play date :)

  • Number 113 reporting in!!!

A tip for teachers/teaching assistants (also put this in Up Your Income) is www.schoolzone.co.uk where you get £2 for every survey plus entry into a prize draw, and opportunities to do paid focus groups.

Thus I got £20 for a phone interview about Maths planning!

Also 63 for 2 mystery dines.

I also complained to Waitrose as found an olive stone in some foccaccia (Olive foccaccia but even so...!) and they sent me 14 of vouchers

In total = £97 which added to previous makes 5% YAY!!!!

Need to change what my 1% is worth. Looking at clearing two smaller debts, so thats £500 and my 1% is worth a fiver :D

Have 2% today but paid it off a debt, felt so satisfying :D

Back down to 0% now, but this should rise faster

Only posting mine today so will have to wait and see. Shame that some books I wanted to trade are listed but with different ISBN numbers so no good sending them.
But will keep checking as they say more are added all the time - and the prices change apparently.

I've not worked out by %s yet as this motnh I have swopped balance on one card and also had oil bill for almost £300! Also have vet today for poorly cat - so another bill will be coming.

Not working and unwell so hard to make extra money or cut down much more on what we already have done but still working on things:

£7 credit for Amazon books to come.

£40 back from mobility scooter repair shop who had 'made a mistake' on my bill!

Awaiting £61 to be paid by Ciao

Have another £15 stored with Ciao

Almost up to another £50 with Dooyoo.

How does amazon trade work please? I'm not familiar with it.
Also, what time do you guys start your ebay listings? is there a 'better time' to start them? x
