Drawing cash out on your credit card is generally a bad idea, but less expensive than pay day loans.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

You can't surely have £1.5k worth of bills due?

With a Credit File littered with missed payments, you won't be getting a £1,500 Loan. Not even from Payday Lenders. You need an alternative plan.

Get in touch with all those who are going to attempt a payment. It is unlikely the penalty for being late with them will compare to the penalty of multiple PDL's.
If you get embroiled in the PDL trap, miss just one repayment and you will sink like a stone.

Is there no OH on the scene? (I guess there must have been at some point...twice), can he not contribute?

Nice to see people aren't judgemental on here then!!!

i was being flippant with the payday loan comment, i wouldn't actually borrow that much nor from a company that charge 1734%

My bills total around £1500 a month so realistically i only need £500 to pay the bills. I was hoping there would be an overdraft kind of option for around £1500 we could use up until the 13/7 but as its not an option we'll have to borrow £500 just to cover bills and thats fine.

OH is on the scene thank you very much, married mother of two, im not some scummy benefit sponger looking for an easy option, im a hard working (never once claimed a single benefit, always worked hard, own my own property etc etc) and i just needed a bit of advice and help for three weeks. nice to see what a nice community you have here! I won't come back to this! gross.

    Nice!

You requirement for £1500 has gone down to £500 in 3 hours. Watch a game of football and you shouldn't need anything once it is finished.

No 1 was judgemental at all.

No 1 said you were a scummy benefit sponger looking for an easy option, people were trying to help.

    Maybe its the hormones
  • I don't know what you can do in the short term (maybe borrow off a family member?), but things like this just help show why it is always good to have 2-3 months worth of wages saved up to ensure they don't cause a problem. Even more so with baby on the way.

  • I've just read through this, I was under the impression that this was a forum where people could ask for advice??

All I have seen are judgemental, sarcastic, unhlepful comments. You should be ashamed of yourselves, if you have nothing constructive or helpful to say then disappear on to a thread that wants your sort....
