Parking fine from Parking Eye

Hi everyone. I've recently recieved a parking fine from Morrisons in Braintree Essex. The company that controls their car park is a company called ParkingEye. They've sent me a lovely little photo of my car and the times that I entered the car park and left the car park. On entering the car park I went to pay for a ticket to find the ticket machine was broken. The sum of the ticket would have been £2. I worte them a letter back stateing that the ticket machine was out of order and I'd be happy to pay them the car park amount of £2 and that they should stop contacting me. They replied with a letting saying my that "My recent appeal has been unsuccessfull". I have also been sent a Final Notice letter that is dated the day before the unsuccessful appeal letter. They have asked me to prove that I was shopping in Morrisons at the time that the parking charge was is issued in the form of a "receipt from the store/site, or a bank statement". I've looked through my bank statements and can prove this to them, but should I bother? Has anyone had dealings with this company before and what is the best way to deal with this myself?
Sorry about my spelling by the way dyslexia is a terrible thing.
Thanks everyone.

Yes I have DOZENS of parking eye and ignored every single one of the silly letters and never paid them a penny.
It is an impersonation of authority scam.
Read up more threads about the fake solicitors they use and fake debt collectors so you know what to expect from them, then sit back and play snap with the letters in the smug knowledge that they are full of BULL !
IGNORE THEM : STAY IGNORING THEM:

Do not waste your time, money etc in communicating with them. File in a sage place - binPrivate Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA

Thanks for your replys. I was pretty sure that was going to be the case. But you can't help but worry a little bit. My girlfriend is very good at that kinda thing as its her job and I'm sure once she read these threads she going to text me the same reply as yours.

Looking at the person's other posts, is anyone else thinking bot?One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -

You've rightly offered them their liquidated business losses of £2 and done everything honestly & reasonably. They have invalidated any case that they might (<1% chance) open against you.
Ignoring them is your best course of action, but if you do feel the need to contact them, e-mail them at their general information address, not appeals: info@parkingeye.co.uk. I've had two personal (albeit absolute nonsense) written replies after e-mailing this address.0
