Laptop Crashed

Hi,
I put my Laptop on this morning and it said it had to check a corruptive disc--after it going through all the checks and re-starting--its came on and everthing is cleared--photos, e-mails--everything,

Its telling me i need to put "Microsoft 2000 premium " disc in but i have,nt got it, is there anyway i can download it? i,m stupid on these things and clueless so any help would be grateful.

What did the screen look like that told you it had to check the corrupted disc?

When it restarted, has it opened with the usual account?

Was that possibly "Microsoft Office 2000 Premium"?

Hi,
Its a Acer X58L Laptop, when i turned it on this morning it just had a blank page and said a corupted disc needed checking-at that a lot of info from windows came up saying it was checking discs etc--once that had finished it had to restart--once it had done that-everything was gone,

I can get onto the internet now and into my accounts--but as soon as i close the laptop down everything goes again-even any e-mail that been sent and i have to re-load,

Yes thats the disc its telling me it needs .

Sorry to be so bumbly about this but i really am useless with these things,
