Slugs in Fuel Tank
I know that Renaults regularly get slagged off by some individuals around here, but I was intrigued whilst waiting for my car service at a Renault Dealer to be finished to hear a mechanic telling the Service Manager that he'd had to remove the fuel tank on a Traffic van to cure intermittent fuel starvation. The tank was infested with black slugs and it was the second one he'd had with the same problem. Slugs LIKE Renaults! How do they get in there? I'm fascinated. I know they're hermaphroditic. Maybe they lay eggs around the filler caps and the tiny hatchings manage to get in. Diesel must be a congenial environment for them.

Aargh, I've been sussed out! Mind you, I thought someone might suggest that slugs thought they had some kinship with Renault vans.0
