Ex Husband and Mortgage

Hi everyone,
I hope you are all ok and having a good week
I split up with my ex officially at the beginning of February, where a separation agreement was drawn up by a solicitor and signed. He signed the bank paper work for transferring the mortgage over to me, and I gave him the money via bank transfer as he was desperate to move in with his other half. Anyway, my solicitors have been crap and very slow, and I now need him to sign one more form to complete the transfer.
I have emailed him but had no response. Where do I stand with this and what if he doesn't sign the form although everything else including emails etc state he will do this.
Any help greatly appreciated. He is an unreasonable man and was abusive, so I know he likes the control.
Any ideas greatly appreciated as it's sending my anxiety through the roof.
Thank you xxx

When you say that you were going to get the mortgage transferred to you, do you mean that you ex's name was going to get taken off the property too?LBM: August 2006 £12,568.49 - DFD 22nd March 2012

You've already given him the money he wanted for the buy out?If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

Yes, we agreed to get his name taken off. So it was just mine remaining

Yes on the basis we said to give it to him in good faith as he was desperate for the cash. We think/thought that as the separation agreement had been done this would be fine?0 -

And yet you knew he was a control freak who was unreasonable and abusive...
He has no incentive now to sign the final form - ever! So it still on the mortgage and still has rights to half the property. If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
So even though the agreement and emails say otherwise and he has signed the initial form to the bank and not the solicitors this still stands?
Is there nothing I can do, like take him to court or anything?

Have you spoken to your solicitor about this?If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

I haven't no, they are an online company so not sure they will be able to help.0

Sorry but I don't know any solicitor that would recommend giving the money before you have the deal signed sealed and delivered.
I think you need to make some phone calls - maybe get a free half hour with a proper solicitor and drop the online one who seem utterly useless IMHO.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0
