Do not contact them, it is an impersonation of authority scam.
they will pretend to be solicitors and debt collectors and send loads of scary letters, but hold your nerve, ignore them right to the end.
Do not write and explain anything, you are dealing with scammers, they will never let go of the money and ASDA are in on the scam and get a cut.

Can anyone tell me who owns the car park now in Asda in Bangor . Friend says she got a parking ticket- I told her not to pay it , but she said it is owned by the council ?????!!!!
Does anyone know ?

Tell her to ignore it, do not contact them as they will send even more letters to her than she will get.
It will stop.

I was the OP on this thread - can't believe it was two years ago! We didn't pay it and never heard anything about it from anyone. So I would say take getzl's advice and don't pay it.

Just an afterthought, was She in the Asda car park or Market Street beside it?
The Wardens do get people on double yellows in Market St.
