Urgent help please, car bought 48 hours ago

We had to reject a car (not going into make/model/age row - but 04 reg, 48K miles) last November as it was not fit for purpose, infact on RAC inspection dangerous to drive and illegal.
Trading Standards are now taking them to court too.
They refused a refund and told us to 'get lost', well that would have been politer!
We took them to court online, all very easy and we were granted a positive outcome. However, the owner of the business has hidden all the finances for the business and has nothing showing as assets or income, so we have no way of getting the money back. We could have used a bailiff but they would have cost another £100 and not got our money either.
On checking he has 4 CCJs just this year alone so he's becoming a pro at avoiding the odd dodgy deal. They are a large business and we have now discovered after some major digging that they have traded under several names.
Unfortunately I have become very familiar with SOGA and the courts, but you can't always win.
I'm hoping to get my day in court soon.

We had the law on our side but these people still get away with it if they are clever. I'm hoping Trading Standards will get a result, but I fear that they'll just close and start again.

Laura how did you pay for the car? When we dealt with consumer direct re rejecting a car they told us about a credit card chargeback being an option available to us, not sure if that would help you.
