WTC 2 payments in 2 days

I usually get my tax credits every Wednesday. They went in yesterday as usual, but today when I have checked my online banking another payment (slightly lower than what I usually get) has gone into the bank.
I have renewed but not had any paperwork back yet.
Has anyone else had an extra payment?
I think im just going to transfer it into my savings account for a few weeks just in case its a mistake and they want it back.

Whenever you renew you will get an extra payment. I had the same. Normal payment on Monday, slightly higher payment on Tuesday. Its perfectly normal.0

and i think it is usual to get the payments before the paperwork, it usually follows in a few days.

I renewed 2 weeks ago. Got a letter saying they wanted more info so phoned them on Monday.
My envelope had a blue sticker on it if that helps (dont know what it means though lol)NSD 2012

what extra info did they need, i always wonder at that, seeing as everything is on the form already! like i say...strange system;)0 -
when i renewed they told me over the phone you might get an extra payment thats standard practice and no need to phone and i did get an extra payment.0
