Sun Holidays- Transfer question.

Asking question on behalf of parents.

Mum and Dad booked into Presthaven Sands via The Sun £9.50 Holidays in the 3rd week of September.

Dad is the only driver but is now unable to drive that distance (will probably never be able to drive properly again)due to a severe change in his health so the holiday is almost worthless. There is a Haven site closer to home that was included in the promotion that I could drive them to, they can then use their bus passes to get around and I'll pick them up at the end of the week.

Is it possible, has anybody been able to, transfer parks on the Sun Holidays promotions.

Many Thanks.

  • Why not call and ask? They will allow it if they still have an available allocation at the other park.

or if not - can you not sell the Presthaven sands holiday to someone else you know - ie family or friends....

and then book another sun holiday for a local park in the next round of holidays in july?

Which Haven site is the nearest? is it a very popular one? But i guess if you are booking for september then you will probably get dates available at all of them...

To echo mynameistallulah, call The Sun and ask them.

The general rule of thumb in the T&Cs is that a holiday once booked is non-refundable or transferable, but given the date and circumstances they may be able to do something.
