Hi
Don't know if this should be here or on the mobile part but I have a problem with my phone.
I have a Samsung S II and I can't download any picture messages.
Well, I have been able to download the odd one but not all of the time.
I looked on the net and found some posts where people had complained about the same thing but there weren't really any proper answers or reasons for this happening.
I have been into my provider who said that the settings werent entirely correct and he changed them. I got a few after that but then nothing.
I am not on the mainland so don't have the normal providers ie t mobile, orange, O2 etc
Does anyone have the same issue or any words of advice
Thanks

I find that I can't receive picture messages without a data connection being up and running, so you need to ensure that part of your phone is running ok. Same applies when sending them as well.
It could either be incorrect settings or just the fact you haven't got a data signal. Having the connection set to wifi will also stop you receiving a picture.0 -
Hi Neil
Thanks for that - you've pretty much said what the others said on the topic that I read when someone had the same problem.
I've now had to completely reset my phone as I have now had other issues regarding message tones - not being set etc
Bloody phone - only had it two weeks0 -
You have to make sure the internet is on. when trying to download.0
