Hi all. I'm going to Vegas next week and would love some tips on where to go. Maybe some ideas which are not too commercial. I'm interested in playing in some poker tournaments so would love some info on where and when to go.
I'd also love to know what pools I can use in Vegas. Do you have to be a resident of a hotel to use their specific pool or can anyone go in and use them, and do you have to pay?
I've already got places to possibly go and eat but if anyone has some brilliant places to go then they would be most welcome.
Thanks in advance.Josh

Have an evening in the old town Fremont street experience,if you catch a bus there do not get off when they shout Fremont street but go on to the next stop the bus station , it is only a few minutes walk but go back there to catch the bus as the Fremont street stop is like a football crowd and you will be sat smugly in your seat. well it was two years ago0

Spend a few hours/days perusing the Vegas sticky Caz has pointed you to.
I have been several times but don't gamble:eek:0 -
You could visit the Neon Boneyard - loads of the old Vegas hotel signs that have either been rescued or donated. They are all located in dusty old yards until the organisation has enough money to renovate and display them in their former glory.
Not sure about the pools, although when I was there in 2009 I'm sure you could go to the one at the Golden Nugget - they have an enclosed slide that goes right through the shark pool.0
