So much pain in my stomach. Doctor says i have too much acid in the stomach and bad indigestion.
Gaviscon did very little.
Any other liquid, chewable/suckable alternatives that work for people?......cheaper the better
Thank You!

As there is the presumption that all MSE readers are idiots, we are not supposed to write anything which might be construed as useful medical advice here, so I will suggest the following links might prove helpful although not exactly what you want.
Netdoctor
Radio 4 Case Notes programme on Indigestion and several useful links.

Hi Miroslav,
Just to clarify, it's more to safeguard users of MSE and the site rather than presuming we are all idiots (I hope!) You can read more about the aim of the health board here - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=31048
I'm going to lock the thread to prevent specific advice being given. In the past I have always found NHS Direct very helpful with all sorts of problems, not necessarily recommending medicines but other ways & they ask so many questions they have a full picture of your health & any other medication you are taking you can call them on 0845 4647 or have a look at their website - http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/
regards, mini0
