Ignis oven /grill not heating up

Hello
I own a Ignis AKL 888/01 built-in oven. Couple of weeks back the grill was on and it just died. Oven not working too. Been trying to work out what's wrong with it. Ruled out settings/child lock etc. I pulled the bulb out today and the filament inside is broken. Could that have caused whole oven and grill to stop working? I'm at point where was just going to order a new oven but if a new bulb will sort it, well, that would be great.
Thanks. Bulb is Philips 25w XJ8

It's probably the element. See if you can track down a replacement first, no need to splash out on a new oven if you don't have cause to.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Does anything work on the unit indicator lights for the thermostat etc?
Do any ventilation fans work?
Is it a fan oven or a conventional oven? Fan ovens often have separate element to the grill so they would go independently.
If it is a dead oven and grill are you sure that a trip switch on the consumer unit hasn't tripped to off when the bulb blew?
If it needs a new element an independent repairer would charge around £70+ to fix."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

Hi Folks
The clock/timer thing is still lit up. A friend suggested the control board could have gone but would the clock still be lit up if that was the case?
It has fan-assisted function but that isn't working either. Nothing works apart from the digital time display plus the 'OK' button which you press once you have set the function and temperature. This still bleeps when you press it but oven doesn't start.
Do you mean the general fuse box for the house? I checked that and switches are all on.
Didn't want to waste money getting an engineer if oven is kaput. But if might be £70 that's not too bad.
