Tickets to see Wicked in New York

My daughter is going to New York in October and she has asked my to find out prices of tickets to see Wicked while she is there as she knows I'm good at hunting out a bargain on the internet.

However unsure where to start with this search....do I go straight to the theatre to book them or are there discounts to be had elsewhere.

Thanks for any advice anyone can give

There's a booth in Times Square called Tkts where they offer discounted on the day tickets for various shows, but for a premier calibre show like that you're probably going to look at the upper end of the prices even for the "cheap" seats. (PS you really can't miss said booth, it's kind of like a set of red steps on one side with the actual booth on the underside of them)

I used Broadway box online to book US theatre tickets.
