remove blue biro

can anyone help my 2yr old has wrote on my cream lampshade with blue biro. any suggestions???????????

Ouch!
Finding something that doesn't smudge the ink on fabric will be difficult.
I would try a small amount of diluted washing up liquid on a scrubbing pad and gentle scour the stain away.

Ive tried diluted washin up liquid, did not work. The fabric has a silky finish. its a lovely beaded lampshade but i think its ruined now. THANKS 4 YOUR ADVICE.0

my mother always used to clean biro off with milk (then sponge off the milk with water) I seem to remember it worked better if it was blue biro.
