Park near Central London then bike

Hi,

How far out of London do you need to go to park DURING THE WEEK on a residential street without paying and without restriction?

I can see from google streetview that there are many places which are residents only from Monday to Friday, thus would be suitable for Saturday parking all day, but where is the closest completely unrestricted parking?

I am planning to bike round central London (bike is in the car!). I have done this several times before, but only ever at the weekend when it is much easier to park.
