Hi all,
Hopefully someone can advise me what to do here:
-Bought car last year from Arnold Clark.
-Put private reg on straight away, registered with DVLA etc.
-Phoned Arnold Clark around 4 times to explain I have new registration.
-Booked car in for service/MOT under new registration.
-Picked car up, on emissions slip, new reg, on actual MOT cert, OLD reg!!
Asked girl behind desk who spoke to manager and said I have to go to the Glasgow DVLA office myself to get it changed.
Phoned back and said I have to take it in to be retested, and sit and wait for an hour while its done.
Any advice on what to do? Thanks

I woudl contact the garage and explain the situation. you may be able to persuade them to pay for a re-test if that is needed. If you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0

I think VOSA may be able to change the registration on the MOT for you...and assuming the above means you're in / near Glasgow, the local office would be at Bishopbriggs (Crosshill Road, G64 2QA - 0141 7723405). Give them a call and see what they say.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
The garage CAN reissue the certificate with the correct reg - I've seen this done after the garage made a typo on a (new style) cert.0
