The Old White Beare is a beautiful Pub situated in the middle of the cosy village of Norwood Green. The location is ideal, just 3 miles from J26 of the M62 and right next to the famous Judy Woods. Offering a classic British menu with all dishes prepared freshly on site and a very good selection of well-kept beers and cask ales including Timothy Taylor's Golden Best & Landlord.
The Old White Beare cater for everybody and every event. Hosting Weddings for up to 300 people on the grounds, Christenings, Birthday Parties with buffet menus, personally tailored to your event and Summer Themed Balls. Live entertainment regularly on the last Friday of the month.
Situated in the Hamlet of Stone Chair near Shelf, The Duke of York is one of the stopping off points on many published walks. The actual Stone Chair erected in 1737 is opposite the front entrance of the Inn. A full lunch and evening meal menu is available 6 days a week along with a traditional home cooked roast & reduced Menu on a Sunday.
