I have carried out the second reset of Freeview where nearly all the channels are in place, however, at the moment none of the HD channels have been installed on my HD television. Am I right in assuming that these will be available at a later date?

Big question ... is your Freeview receiver capable of HD reception ?

If it is built into the TV, then some HD ready TVs do not have the Freeview HD tuner fitted, just the standard version.

If you have a separate Freeview box then check the specification.

Standard tuners will not show HD channels even in their listings.

What transmitter do you receive your TV from ?

You do not have a Freeview HD tuner in your TV.

HD channels are numbered 50 onwards, so if you enter 51 via your remote and get nothing then you haven't got HD on your set.
