But only if you pay a £300,000 administration fee.
OK, thats not true.
I hate all those phone and broadband deals that say "broadband for £6.50" but then go on to say in the T&Cs you "have" to sign up to their £14.50 a month line rental.
If the deal is contingent on another servlce, shouldnt the headline price show it as part of the deal?
Just a vent, but frustrating, as you have to dig out the true deal costs to make any meaningful comparison.
PS: the above example is from a TalkTalk flyer, currently lining my bin.

Indeed. Much in the same way as airlines quote crazy prices and then bump them up with misc' taxes and extra charges, this should not be allowed.0

I particularly dislike the ones (beloved of BT) where you get a headline figure of £7*, for example, and in very small print at the bottom you find that's just for 3 months at which time the price rockets to £21.0

Yes! Virgin are the ultimate in this !!!! with their packages at whatever for 6 months then going up to much higher rates. Who changes Internet every 6 months? the sheer hassle of changing all your email addresses plus the inevitable screw ups - BT and Virgin are not known for playing nicely and if your landline number gets ported intact your lucky. Plenty of people end up losing it and have the shocking hassle of that too. More like every 10 years! so 6 months cheap in 10 years is pointless headlining.0 -
I have been with aol since 1998 and only pay £6pm for unlimited..bt line rental and never had a problem with them....It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0
