I would use it like beef mince, make anything from burgers / meatballs, cottage / shepherd's pie, lasagna, moussaka, curry etc.

The's a load more, just type 'mince' into the search box on the site.0 -
you could make the pork into meatballs & serve with a sweet & sour sauce & rice or regular meatballs with a rich tomato sauce & pasta
lamb would be perfect as shepherds pie or koftas0 -
I don't use minced lamb but............
pork into meatballs or
meatloaf (a recipe here & you can see in the comments that people addd or substitute minced pork http://allrecipes.co.uk/recipe/4662/easy-meatloaf.aspx )
& when I make ragu, I tend to use half pork, half beef.
***edit - thank you Spike - haven't had frikadellen in years - must make some***0 -

When I fist had Frikadellen while living in Germany and buying them from Holland in the late 70's they tended to have horse meat or pork in them. This recipe says Beef & Pork, but I might give this a go. :beer:Lidl's also sell them Chris, pack of 5 in the chiller section, although they're not called Frikadellen on the pack..These are them;http://www.flickr.com/photos/irisheyes/5627609404/
My Lidl now has them back in with the name Frikadellen on them, for a while they were beef or chicken patties (or something like that) they were not the same though even though they looked to be, they were very cerealy).Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -
hi i would go for pork and apple burgers as SPENDLESS says. its really simple i got the recipe on this site a few weeks ago as i too got ys pork mince. peel 2 ordinary apples i used granny smiths grate them add to pork mince in a bowl add an egg mix it up put frying pan on med ,make into burgers fry to suit yourself. i got 4 leftover ones so froze (still in freezer). made hm coleslaw toasted baps and put salad in yummmmmmmmmmmmmm really filling just fried a massive pan of ys mushrooms and we were stuffed (no chips or wedges trying to lose weight) same can be done with minced lamb omiting the apple, i would personally make it into a shepards pie , eat what you want then portion up into meals and freeze. well done on getting them ys they are a luxury usually only ordinary mince or all the stuff that you wouldnt normally buy and end up buying cos its cheap!!C.R.A.P.R.O.L.L.Z #7 member N.I splinter-group co-ordinater
I dont suffer from insanity....I enjoy every minute of it!!.:)
