I find this post a little annoying - the poster is 19 with an 'average job' and £108k which isn't going to be there for too long - why the obsession for private banking? He has a premier account in Barclays (which for a 19 year old is some accomplishment - unless its the free for all premier life version), so what 'extra's would he expect with a private bank?
Whilst the poster says he is not a snob I can't see a rationale explanation for needing such an account - if you have considerable wealth - need help with your tax affairs - and are prepared to pay for the benefits of first name terms than fair enough. Personally I'd stick with the premier account you already have!0
